Larry guides ongoing diversity and inclusion work for The Florida Bar’s Annual Conference in Tampa

On October 16, Larry, who is an inaugural member and serves on the Executive Council of The Florida Bar Standing Committee on Diversity & Inclusion, helped guide the Committee’s current and future events at the Bar’s Annual Fall Conference in Tampa. Among key topics were the Bar’s continuing efforts to identify and address gender inequity, and the publication of a resource guide in the aftermath of hate crimes, a response, in part, to what was learned after the Pulse shooting about what lawyers and other professionals can do in advance to prepare for unexpected but foreseeable massive violence in their communities. Larry has previously spoken nationally on this topic, including at the 2018 Defense Research Institute’s Annual Fall Meeting in San Francisco.
